Primary ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater Diana Vishneva was born on July 13, 1976 in Leningrad. Her parents had nothing to do with ballet. They were chemists. Since childhood, Diana has developed comprehensively: she was engaged in dances, sports, was fond of mathematics, read classical literature and often visited museums. The world of art has always attracted it. And when Diana Vishneva got to Vaganovskoe College, she just dissolved into it.
Career of a ballerina
In 1995, after graduating from the Agrippina Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, the young Diana Vishneva became a member of the Mariinsky Ballet Theater, and in 1996 she became the leading soloist of the theater.
